Required Transcripts
If you are invited to a final interview, Urban Teachers will require a copy of the transcript from the undergraduate institution where you graduated or will graduate with your Bachelor's degree. This can be an unofficial or official copy (or even a screenshot of your grades from your university's online portal), as long as it contains the credits you have completed and your final cumulative GPA. (It must also have your name and the name of the institution on it.)
If you are admitted into the Urban Teachers program, you will be required to submit an official transcript from this undergraduate institution to Urban Teachers. You will also be required to submit an official copy of the transcripts from ALL higher education institutions that you attended, whether or not those GPAs had any bearing on your final GPA, to our graduate university partner.
Submitting Final Transcripts to Urban Teachers
Once you have signed your Letter of Intent and accepted your offer, you will be required to send official transcripts to Urban Teachers, which we will share with our graduate university partner. Instructions for submitting your transcripts to Urban Teachers are below:
Applicants must submit one electronic copy, or two copies of an official paper transcript, to Urban Teachers. These should be submitted once the applicant has graduated, and their degree has been conferred. Applicants can:
- Email one electronic copy of their official transcript to Urban Teachers Admissions (admissions@urbanteachers.org), or
- Send two paper copies of their official transcript to:
