Recruitment & Referrals

As a participant in our program, we know that you are committed to ensuring every student in the United States is taught by committed, well-prepared, culturally competent teachers. You can continue to advance this work by helping us find great teachers to join our program. And we know Urban Teachers participants are our best ambassadors! There are a number of ways you can support us outside of the classroom, including:

1. Participating in recruitment and hiring efforts. If you are interested in helping our Recruitment Team, please email us at recruiters@urbanteachers.org. 

2. Following us on social media and sharing upcoming deadlines and locations of recruitment events. You can find us on Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook. 

3. Spreading the word in your network! We know you have friends and connections at your alma mater, in your community, and beyond who are driven toward change like you are. Use our referral link to share names of people you think would be a great fit with our program. Please know that referrals will not reflect on you in any but positively (If someone is not accepted that you recommend, this will have no reflection on you.)
